It's a beautiful day here in Kansas City. Everything is coming up, sprouting from the ground. It's one of my favorite times of the year.  My trees are so pretty with all the blooms on them and the cherry tree out back is LOADED with blooms!  Can't wait for some fresh cherry pie. :)
This past month has been quite an adjustment. It's been a flurry of activity in the house.  Kelsea moved to Iowa with her husband Josh and Tyler (my oldest son).  I hear they are settling into a routine up there and enjoying life.  That makes my heart SO happy!!  I know change is difficult for many people, but for Kelsea it can be very stressful.   You see, my daughter Kelsea struggles with addiction and her life has been a difficult road.  She went into a rehab facility last summer and has been doing great since then.  She still struggles daily with life.  Getting out of rehab was just the beginning of a new life - one filled with daily struggles and fear. But, Kelsea has a great love for Jesus and I believe that He will provide - it is one of His promises. And I have hope - the confident anticipation of new life, a clear path for her.  She is my inspiration, not only because of her incredible strength but also because of her unfailing love for God.  I love that girl so much - sometimes it makes my heart hurt.
This past month has also brought a life full of my two grandsons.  I'm enjoying snuggling my little Silas and toting him around with me.  And Seth is growing up to be quite a little gentleman. However, I will say this: There is a reason why younger people have children - cause this can be exhausting!!  It also has a way of limiting how much creating I can accomplish. I have to be highly organized and efficient with my free time.  My Granny duties are only temporary as Mikayla will be out of school in September.  She will be an RN - so proud of her!!

I'm not sure if you are aware that I am on the design team of Two Paper Divas.  A lot of the cards I made for Remember This were also used for Two Paper Divas.  You can find there website here :Two Paper Divas.  Melissa and Gayle create really fabulous stamps and I will be sharing them with you. Go check them out - the stamps are wonderful - you won't be disappointed.  They also have the images available in digital form too.
Here are some cards I made using some of the stamps:

  1. Glad to hear that Kelsea is doing well. I hope that this new start will another positive step in her recovery. Enjoy those babies; they grow up too fast! Oh, it doesn't get any less exhausting. My "Grands are 12 and almost 14 and they still wear me out!
