Can you believe it is already the 23rd of January?  My mom always said time passes faster the older you get.  I can't imagine it going any faster - I can't keep up!  There are so many things I want to do and just not enough hours in the day to do them.  I guess I could forgo sleep, but I think my family would appreciate me more if I didn't.  :)
The follow are a few projects I did for the Scrapbook page.  They are in Wendy Vecchi style.  I just love her products.  They are so fun to work with and there are so many things you can do with them.  I hear she has some pretty cool things coming out at CHA in Anaheim.

Good morning blogger world!  I just got home from church and the message this morning was awesome.  I really enjoy the church we go to.  The pastor is such an inspiration and the people are wonderful!!  I thank God everyday for the blessings He has given me.  God is good!!!

On another note - yesterday was my last day at the Scrapbook Page.  It was sad to leave as I have really enjoyed working there.  These past few years were challenging to say the least and the Scrapbook Page was a refuge for me many days.  It was a place I could go and just forget for  awhile the troubles of the world. (And get paid for it - how good is that?)    But 2012 has some exciting things in store for me and I am really looking forward to them.  It's going to be a fantastic year - the first of many to come - So Excited!!!

For those of you who don't know already, I am helping open a scrapbook/crafting store in Gardner Kansas.     The name is "Remember This" and we are hoping to be open February 10, with a grand opening February 11th.  The phone number is 913-856-6030.  Be sure to come in and see all the new exciting things we have in store for all you!!   There is so much to do to get ready - so I'm off to get to work!
Have a fabulous Sunday!!  :)

The following are a couple tags I made for the Scrapbook Page.  The first is a Tim Holtz santa stamp that I embossed and cut out.  The background of the tag was dry embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder then inked with his new seasonal inks. The snowflakes are also Tim Holtz.  Do you think I like Tim Holtz??
The second tag is also Tim Holtz inspired and a lot of fun to create.  The tag was inked with Tim Holtz new Picket Fence Distress Stain, then stamped with a script stamp and lightly inked with Tim Holtz new seasonal inks.  The house was cut out form chipboard and painted with Tim Holtz Picket Fence crackle paint.  The silver word, trim and star are chipboard covered with Ranger silver foil paper and cut out from Tim Holtz dies. The wreath is made from snowflakes layered together and a hole punched out in the center.  Finally, the flower is make from Tim Holtz tissue paper.  This is super fun to work with and has so many possible uses.

Holy cow!!  This blog designing has my head spinning.  I am so not computer literate - as is well evidenced by the look of my blog.  Goodness there are so many options out there.  I need a glass of wine!! (ok, I need another glass of wine :/  )
This is a card I made for a class that I am teaching at the Scrapbook Page the end of January.

Here is a collage frame that I made using a Prima 12 x 12 frame and some burlap.  I formed a flower with some burlap and add a jeweled crown.
I just love this picture in the center of my daughter Mikayla and my mother Sadie.

This is a 7gypsies tray I made with black and white pictures.  The first picture isn't the best - sorry. I really need to invest in a better camera and find a good place to photograph items.  So much to do and so little time to do it!!
The pictures were sized down using the collage option at Costco photo developing.  It is so easy to use and fun to configure the pictures in different ways.

This is a sweet little Tim Holtz configuration shadow box that I made a while back.  The lapel pin in the middle right side compartment is from my dear Grandmother Elizabeth Bauer.  I cherish this pin and love that I can see it every time I walk into my craft room.
These configuration boxes are fun and super easy to make.

Here are a couple of fun little snowmen ornaments that I made for Christmas.  A little clay, paint and glitter and viola!!
These little guys are super easy and a lot of fun to make.

Happy New Year!!  It was a quiet New Year's Eve at my house this year.  Spent the evening at home watching movies and enjoying the company of a couple of the kids.

I've got so much to look forward to this year.  It's going to be a fabulous year.

Still struggling to get this blog up and running, but I am determined to do it.  My friend Linda will be helping me get it "just right".   It's going to be fun!!

Tomorrow I am going to work in the store - getting it set up and ready to open.  It is so exciting to be a part of this from the ground up, and to watch it grow into a successful business.

Not much to say - gotta get used to this blogging thing.  Maybe when I know more about it I will be better with it.

Have a great day!!
